Golden Axe Fastball Special

Gotta love Golden Axe. It was one of the first games with a "complete" artistic feel. The absence of blank backgrounds and beeping sounds made it really immersive for its age. You put a coin in and you heard a hammer forging a sword, and then you started the game with the sound of an unseathing sword, not to mention the awesome character selection screen with the skeleton offering your heroes in his hand. Oh, and magic; seeing a gigantic dragon scorching everything onscreen was jaw-dropping. And on top of that, it was fun to play (and had the playable, bikini clad hottie <3 Tyris Flare <3, which will be featured on another deviation).

Here are Ax Battler the barbarian and Gillius Thunderhead the dwarf attacking a surprised Storchinaya, a random baddie. It would be epic if you could launch Gillius like that in the game. XDD
